How to submit your arXiv manuscript to PMC Phys A
Since PMC Physics A is now accepting submissions, I thought it would be a good time to highlight how easy it is to upload your article to us from an existing arXiv ID. Remember that there will be no charge for all articles accepted for publication in PMC Physics A submitted before 30 June 2007, so why not try it out?
1 - Go to either the PhysMath Central homepage or journal homepage.
2 - Log-in to the site, or register your details (actually you can do this before step 1 if you wanted to).
3 - Click on the 'Submit a manuscript' icon on the right hand side of the homepage
4 - Read the submission checklist and confirm your contact details.
5 - Enter your arXiv ID
6 - Enter some PACS codes and select from a few drop down menus and your almost done.
7 - Finally choose a correpsonding author and upload the files (you won't need to upload any supplmentary files as we can pull these from the arXiv).
8 - Sit back and wait for the referee reports to come back.
Remember all articles on PhysMath Central are universally, freely accessible forever. They are immediately deposited and archived in a number of national repositories. The authors retain copyright of their articles and license the article, under Creative Commons, to grant any thrid party the right to use the article freely as long as its integrity is maintained and its original authors, citation details and publisher are identified.
So what are you waiting for? If you have an arXiv paper you can join the open access revolution today, for free!
