Latest Impact Factor for Chemistry Central Journal
We're delighted to announce that the latest official Impact Factor for Chemistry Central Journal is 1.65.
Since its launch in 2007, the Chemistry Central Journal Impact Factor has risen steadily, demonstrating that open access delivers not only high visibility but also excellent rates of citation and impact.
Please note that the value listed in the 2010 edition of Thomson Reuters' Journal Citation Reports released 28 June 2011 is erroneously low due to a data error. The 1.65 value is officially the correct one, and will appear in the 2010 JCR revision that is published in October.
Altogether, 101 journals published by BioMed Central (the group behind Chemistry Central) now have official impact factors, and 21 journals recorded their first impact factors this year.
