Sam's Race for Life

On Sunday 24th June I will be running in the Chelmsford Race for Life - a 5 km run. Race For Life is a very important fund raising event that takes place all over the country to raise money for Cancer Research UK. BioMed Central has kindly sponsored me and given me a very dashing pink 'I'm Quick' t-shirt to wear, very fitting for the pink theme of the race and I hope I live up to the claim!

People are encouraged to dress up, wear dedication t-shirts and get to know each other's stories about how they have been affected by cancer and why they are running. It is a very fun event and I am really pleased to be participating in the Chelmsford race, in loving memory of my Dad.
