Human Resources for Health launch an international joint special issue: "Towards a scaling-up of training and education for health workers”

"Towards a scaling-up of training and education for health workers" constitutes the collaboration of over 20 top medical journals led by Human Resources for Health. Over the coming 12 months, each journal will contribute in their own unique way to the theme of scaling-up training and education of health workers, thereby addressing the critical need for a skilled, sustainable health workforce internationally and in the developing world.

The following six partnering journals - including Human Resources for Health - have already published their contributing issues:

Human Resources for Health will publish articles on this theme on an ongoing basis up to June 2009. To keep up-to-date with the publication of further articles, please sign up for email alerts. Regular updates will also be posted on the Human Resources for Health Blog.
