BioMed Central pedals for pounds

               
As part of BioMed Central's pledge to raise £10,760 for the Kenyatta University 
programme, four of our own editorial team members will be taking on the Cycle Chile  Challenge. In late September, Ruth, Matt, Helen and Joe (pictured) will embark on an off-the-beaten track adventure in Patagonia, covering 375km of wilderness, including giant glaciers, volcanic mountains and lush rainforest. Of course, it's not all pretty scenery, this will be a tough ride involving intense training and each of our   eager cyclists must raise £2900.
