Melissa Norton MD appointed Editor-in-Chief of BMC series
BioMed Central is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa Norton MD as Editor-in-Chief of the BMC series of open access journals.
Melissa has been with BioMed Central since late 2005, serving as Medical Editor of the BMC series. In the newly-created role of Editor-in-Chief, Melissa's responsibilities encompass all aspects of developing and running the BMC-series to ensure it delivers the highest editorial standards and the best possible service to authors and readers.
Having graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College with a degree in genetics and developmental and cell biology, Melissa then completed her medical training at Washington University School of Medicine, before practicing from 2002-2005 at St Johns Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Well thought hardwork and commitment pay, and there is no doubt from my view that Dr Melissa qualifies for the appointment she got. That is of expected from her and her editorial team that BMC will continue flying in the sky with very useful papers for public health development in the world. Cheers!
